Arkhyz All-Season Tourist and Recreational Complex

Arkhyz All-Season Tourist and Recreational Complex, located in the Zelenchukskaya District of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic, is the launchpad of the North Caucasus tourism cluster.

Arkhyz works all year round: in winter, it offers ski infrastructure facilities to tourists, and in summer there are rope parks, horse rental, a sports pitch, and a children’s playground as well as barbecue areas.

LLC National Ropeways developed concepts and designed the following resort facilities:

• townhouse village in Dukka tourist village;
• piste bashers garage;
• parking system.

LLC National Ropeways organized the operation of 8 ropeways of various types (gondola and chairlift, fixed and detachable lifts).

It should be noted that LLC National Ropeways organized the supply of equipment from abroad, partial local manufacturing in the Russian Federation, and supervision work of two ropeways at Arkhyz.
