To date, the Russian Federation has mastered innovative technologies for the production of ropeway components such as line towers, lifting elements of stations and garages, special anchor baskets, etc.
Technologies are used to ensure a high level of quality and safety:
- high-quality robotic submerged arc welding (SAW) allows for minimizing the dependence on the human factor;
- rolling with subsequent welding of nonstandard straight seam pipes allows reaching a compromise between ensuring the bearing capacity of the line towers and reducing the weight load on the foundations;
- using bend and treatment machines processing ensures accuracy in parts manufacturing.
- the coating in the hot-dip galvanizing bath creates an excellent anti-corrosion effect even in cavities inaccessible to usual painting, thereby ensuring a long service life of the product.
The production of ropeway components employs multi-stage quality control, starting with the raw materials from the metallurgical enterprise and ending with packaging. Special attention is paid to the nondestructive testing (NDT) of welds.
The quality control system ensures complete traceability at all stages of production and operation, from the melting of raw materials to the disposal of elements of cable cars at the end of the product life cycle.
